How to Make Meaning Every Morning

How to Make Meaning Every Morning

Morning are important because they can set the tone for the rest of your day. Maybe you slept good, maybe you didn't. Either way, it's up to you to decide how you're going to spend your day. You are in control. You are responsible. You can make every morning have meaning.

How can we make meaning every morning?

Intention, curiosity, and grit are like a three-corded strand that is not easily broken. A person who acts with intention, is curious about the world, and has the sticktuitiveness of grit is more likely to find meaning every morning. If you don't know where to start, just breathe.

How can I live my life with more intention?

Start by asking yourself 'what is the very next thing I'm going to do' and then write it down. That simple act of thinking ahead, making a plan, and being purposeful with your life will start you down the path of being more intentional with your life. Start with the little things.

What does your morning routine look like?

When you're getting ready for your day you might take a shower or make your breakfast. You might be sitting in a car or on a bus. You might be alone or with a bunch of people. In all things, in all circumstances, you have the ability to control what you think and how you think.

How do you decide what to do everyday?

Imagine an empty glass jar. Fill it with social media, watching TV, and texting. Those are all small grains of sand. Now try to add in the big projects you want to get done. Those are all big stones. Do they fit? Imagine instead that you put the big stones in first - and then the sand.

What does coffee have to do with coconut oil?

At Skinny & Co. we love coffee and one of the things we discovered is that coffee is a great way to eat more coconut oil everyday. Not only does it make us feel fuller longer, it tastes great, too. You won't need cream or sugar because of the natural creaminess and sweetness of the coconut oil.
