What does “chemical-free” mean to Skinny & Co.?

If you know our products and way of thinking when it comes to creating new products, you know how important it is for us to provide the purest products on the market sourced from coconuts. This is especially important to us because most of the more than 80,000 chemicals that are used in the United States haven't been tested for impact on human health. We want no part in that statistic.

Instead, we want to provide the purest products on earth for your cooking, beauty, and overall health needs.

Skinny & Co. values

By now, you likely know that Skinny Coconut Oil is the only 100 percent raw, sustainably sourced, small-batch, handcrafted coconut oil in the world. We never heat the coconuts we extract our oil from. But, perhaps most importantly, we never add chemicals to our products and make sure we use five or fewer ingredients. But what exactly does that mean?

Chemical-free means no added chemicals

“Chemical-free” might be comforting enough for some of our customers, but the truth is, a lot more could be said to explain what exactly that means.

Simply said, “chemical-free” means no added chemicals:

  • No preservatives
  • No phthalates
  • No parabens
  • No sulfates
  • No toxins

Want to know more?

There’s even more that can be said about each of these chemicals we absolutely will not include in our products, and each deserves its own detail. To help you better understand what these chemicals do to your products (and your health and body!), we’ll be posting a blog about each in coming weeks. Keep checking back!
